What A Weekend

Well, we got our mess cleaned up.  We worked from 3:00 Friday afternoon until 7:00 Sunday night.  We logged over 100 miles bringing loads of branches to the compost. We finally got power back on Saturday night at around 8:00.  It feels really good to accomplish all that we did.  Those were huge trees.  The bad news is we still need to take the tree down in the back yard but at least we got what was on the ground and hanging down.  We were very lucky we didn't have more damage on the house.  The front shingles were damaged a little and we are waiting for the insurance adjuster to come out.  So we'll see.  Luckily, our bay window and siding were spared.

The line at the compost all weekend was out to the gate
